We all know that the change in technology has been increasing rapidly day by day. The media plays a major role in developing communicating information in today’s world. Since, media helps to keep in touch with the world no matter wherever we go; it is the most powerful weapon to a citizen of a country. Media is also popularly known as social media since it works for well being of society. Besides, being media a powerful weapon we all know that social media is divided into different parts. Some of the popular media agencies are as follows: radio, television, newspaper, magazines, film so on.

Firstly, a radiois an audio device where we can only hear the audio and it was the first electronic device which helps to provide information to general public. Along with, it is very popular in the village areas till today where there is lack of electricity. As it is less expensive, it can be affordable by everyone. Again the other media is Television and it is something that has created a history till date because the television has become the most effective device as it can be both heard and seen.   Since, it is suitable for everyone even for the illiterate people.

Similarly, in today’s world the percentage of people watching television has been increasing incredibly. Along with the television the other media which supports for providing information is the film. As film contains story which are mostly related to the people’s life so it can give idea about the problem and make people aware of the situation with the concept of how to tackle those problems. As, films are very popular among the youngster, it has a great impact towards the new generations.

Newspaper or Magazine is one of the types of media which we all are used to. These are the strongest media where the writer can write his opinion related to any topic or any person or any place. He or she is not bound with any boundaries. Neither there are any limitations that one should write this and should not write that. Those opinions are published in newspaper public can get reach to all those information.

On the other hand, although there are many advantages of media but it also has some disadvantages. Instance, the advertisement shown in television and film may not be suitable for the children such as advertisementof smoking, drinking, fighting and so on. Similarly, the youngster gets inspired by media and they try to imitate it as shown which is not good in reality.

 However, from my view point television is most effective media because it provides many types of informational programsfor different age groups and one can choose the best program according to their age group and their interest. Since, it is widely used device in today’s world, it is considered as an effective means of transferring information easily and quickly from any other media services.

 A t last it can be concluded that media has been playing a major role in modern age to provide the services of communication and to supply information in order to provide the information prevailing all over the world.
