Importance of Education

We receive knowledgethrough different sources. The act of receiving knowledge is education. We acquire something through experience and training. Learning or education is the lifelong process. It is continuous until death. Education is gained through various sources such as formal, informal, and non-formal. Only to acquire education in schooling life and college life is not the education. This is only that, it’s example of formal education.
Education is third eye of man. It is the most powerful light of life. So, the importance of education in our life plays a vital role. The person without educationis ugly as an animal and the animal with no tail and no horn. Without education a person is blind. An educated person can separate good and bad and right and wrongs from a difficult situation. He/she can analyze the things very deeply and can come into conclusion. An uneducated man always has to spend his life in disorder and darkness. An uneducated person can see only water but also electricity in it. Sitting in one corner of any country, an educatedperson can see the whole world. Educationis greater than wealth. Educationchanges the human concepts and mind. It is not like other properties. The more we spend on education, the more it increases. Neither is it divisible nor it can be stolen or sold. So that education is called permanent property of human being. It always remains with individuals at any time, any place and any situation, not only during his life but also after his death. Education is the mental input of mankind. It is said that the king is respected in his country and only during his reign but a learned man is respected all over the world not only during his life but also after his death. Educationis internal or spiritual eye. Education leads everyone towards the path of prosperity, comports and eases of life. Education makes man genuine, dutiful, discipline and civilized.
Education means development. Education plays a vital role in development of any country. A country cannot develop, until it educates its people. Education provides different man powers in different country such as engineers, doctors, pilot, managers, administrator, and professor and so on. Education has given birth to many extra ordinary heads to this modern world. Newton, Shakespeare, Laxmi Prasad Devkota, and Prithi Narayan shah are all outcome of education. Today, man has been able to fly rocket and research so many things about planets. They have made computers their friends. All these are miracles of education. The importance of education should be understood by all of us. Thus, it can be said that nothing can be done without educationin today’s world.
